This freestanding covered patio with an outdoor kitchen and fireplace is the perfect retreat from the constraints of the house. The homeowner had an existing structure located in their back yard that we demolished and built them this beautiful new space.

Time to Get Away

Just a few steps from the home, this freestanding patio cover is right at 500 square feet. It is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the backyard.

Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen has a bar top area for dining outside. Notice the special details of the cedar braces under the granite counter top.

Under the Cover

The kitchen is L-shaped with a grill, fridge, storage and plenty of counter space for preparing and serving meals. The flooring is a travertine tile in a Versailles pattern.

Staying Warm in the Winter

The wood-burning fireplace is custom built with a large ledgestone hearth and cedar mantle. The stone fascia is the same as what is on the kitchen.

Gabled Roof and Decorative Ceiling

The vaulted ceiling is a stained tongue and groove with cedar beams. The columns are also stained cedar with stone bases. The gabled roof gives the space a very open feel.
