This spacious outdoor living room is the ideal space for the homeowners to enjoy their backyard.
This homeowner wanted a larger outdoor living space that would allow them the ability to host family and friends. TCP needed to remove and replace the second-story windows to ensure a proper roof pitch. It was a simple fix that enabled us to fulfill their vision.
This space added about 525 SF of outdoor living. The ceiling is a stained pine tongue and groove with dark stained cedar beam accents. The flooring is light travertine in a Versailles pattern.
The stone veneer custom built fireplace is framed with masonry blocks and features a reclaimed Hemlock mantle. It is absolutely the focal point of the project. We created planters along the side to create a border for the outdoor room.
The outdoor kitchen features a gas grill, a Big Green Egg, a fridge and storage. The backsplash is a stainless steel tile and the granite counter keeps everything coordinated. The fascia of the kitchen matches the fireplace and column bases.
The patio cover is bordered by a stained concrete sidewalk with black star gravel around the stones. This feature allowed for a space to store the wood for the fireplace.
The large windows in the living room creates the perfect connected space… allowing anyone indoors to enjoy the outdoor feel.
The double columns, the clean lines, the contemporary lighting … all a part of the homeowners vision. Plenty of space to enjoy dining outdoors or relaxing by the fire.
