The homeowner wanted a complete separate space to be built to enjoy their backyard and pool. This 836 SF conditioned pool house was designed and built to match their home and fulfill their vision.
I
The La Cantina doors from Renaissance Windows & Doors allow the pool house to be completely opened to the inside or can be closed to create an indoor space.
The space was designed to have 4 distinct areas: kitchen, living room, dining room and a bathroom. There is also a storage closet.
The custom kitchen is equipped with a Profire natural gas indoor grill, vent hood, dishwasher, fridge, ice maker and sink. The counter tops are Ceasarstone, the wall is Venice Alabaster large marble chip 36X36 tile from Concrete Collaborative, and the lighting is Cove Lighting from Lighting Inc.
A 10-foot island with space for seating is just the perfect place to hang out and have lunch.
Tucked in the corner is a custom built-in dinette set.
The custom built gas fireplace includes contemporary stacked balls from Woodland Direct. This is the perfect spot to relax, read a book, watch a movie… whatever you are in the mood for.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower. The vanity is from Restoration Hardware with fixtures and faucets from Expressions Home Gallery.
The ceiling is actually flooring…we used oversized White Oak 7″ planks up there to create the look that the homeowner desired.
The flooring throughout the space is Pennsylvania Blue Stone from Apex stone.
The pool now features new plaster, water line tile, and coping. TCP also installed astroturf around concrete stepping stones to connect the pool house to the main house.
