This homeowner needed some shade. They had a patio that needed updating and wanted to have a space for entertaining.
Before
Extended Living Space
We were able to create and cover 850 SF so the family would have an outdoor dining area, sitting area and outdoor kitchen. We did have to remove a tree and address a drainage issue, but were able to solve the problem. We added a French drain system with black star gravel walkway and installed astro turf.
Room to Relax
The ceiling we installed is stained tongue and groove. The color really pops against the cream colored brick and siding. This is just what the parents wanted – a space to enjoy and relax in while the kids played in the back yard.
Outdoor Kitchen
This is a dream kitchen – L-shaped with an 8 foot island. It includes 2 refrigerators, a 38″ RCS grill, a power burner for the crawfish boils, a sink for easy clean up, and plenty of drawers and storage. There is bar seating along the outer edge of the island.
So Inviting…
The flooring is a travertine tile. The half columns and kitchen fascia are a cream colored stone that gives some texture to the entire project. This project really gives the homeowner another room for entertaining friends and family.
