Contemporary Outdoor Living Room in Montrose

This 1929 bungalow only had a wooden deck in the backyard of a small lot.  Some creative use of space and unique finishes added over 400 square feet of modern living space to the home.  The project includes a patio cover that ties into the existing roof, a composite deck, a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen.

Outdoor Living in Briar Forest Area

Backing up to a lovely green space and Buffalo Bayou, this home only had a paver patio that was in disrepair, and no shade to enjoy the beautiful views.  A new gable roof patio cover provides ample shade, while an outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, and Travertine tile floor turn this area into a spectacular outdoor living room.

Freestanding Loaded Pool Cabana

The homeowners desired a freestanding pool house that would be designed to complement the pool and the home. They had a limited amount of space, but still wanted to include a bathroom, kitchen and living area complete with a fireplace. The age of the home made it difficult to match the existing brick, so a smooth stucco finish was chosen to complement the home.
