Total yard makeover … this family now has the perfect space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors.
Before
This homeowner had a large backyard that was in need of a makeover. They had a beautiful pool installed and then we came in and added 3 new outdoor spaces as well as updating the space that was built with their home.
Updated Patio Cover
The existing patio cover got a facelift with new flooring, ceiling, lighting and fans.
Added Freestanding Covered Patio
At one end of the pool, we added a freestanding cover complete with a privacy wall for hanging the TV, a space for a bartop area as well as a cozy living area.
A closer look under the cover…
This space is vaulted with a gable roof. The columns are finished with white chop stone bases that match the TV wall and knee walls. The ceiling is Real Soffit Reserve Cognac with stained beams to match.
Redone Carport to Create a 3rd Outdoor Living Space
A short breezeway attaches this space with the new patio cover. Pella doors were installed to replace a wall of windows for easy access to the new outdoor living area.
A Second Look
The same ceiling, flooring and stone was used throughout the project. The flooring is Overall Cotton 24×24 tiles from Thorntree. All of the ceiling fans are Minka fans.
Under the Stars
A firepit area was added at the other end of the pool. It is a custom built pit with natural gas and fyre glass that creates a perfect area for stargazing and roasting marshmallows.
