This homeowner wanted the perfect backyard to spend lazy days and nights.

Before … a large backyard with nothing there.

This yard needed shade. This yard needed a pool. This yard needed more character. This yard got an entire make-over.

What a transformation!

TCP worked closely with the pool builder to create the entire backyard space. A new pool, a patio cover with an outdoor kitchen and new landscaping — time to invite the neighbors over for a BBQ.

The Patio Cover – built to look original to the home.

The patio cover is right around 500SF with a gabled roof and vaulted ceiling. The ceiling is finished with Realsoffit Fine Line pre-stained tongue and groove in English Porter. All of the tile flooring is La Reverse Dune Carved tiles 16X32 from Thorntree. The columns are wrapped in hardie and painted to match the home and have lower stone bases to match the new outdoor kitchen.

The Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen is a 13′ L-shaped counter with space for prepping and serving meals. The granite is Adonis White from Daltile and the appliances are RCS brand from Cunningham Living. It includes a 38″ Cutlass Pro Grill, a side burner, a dry pantry and an outdoor rated refrigerator as well as a few doors and drawers for storage. The kitchen is faced with mixed sizes of STB chopped Blanco stones from Rock Materials.

Whether it is a chilly night and the firepit is turned on or a lazy afternoon, there is plenty of space to hang out outdoors and enjoy the backyard.
