The Star Awards, established in 1992, are the only statewide tribute to excellence in the homebuilding industry. This year saw a record 850 entries across 176 categories, highlighting the exceptional talent within Texas. With a total of 5 finalists, we proudly took home two top honors.
Winner: Best Addition for the Talbot project
The Talbot project is a remarkable 950 sq ft freestanding pool house designed with both functionality and style in mind. This exquisite addition includes:
- A fully equipped bathroom, a spacious kitchen, and a cozy fireplace.
- Elegant stucco finish with stone accents, arched openings, and drop screens for versatile use.
- Light travertine tile flooring that adds a touch of luxury and durability.
- A high-end outdoor kitchen featuring premium appliances and stunning Cosmos granite countertops.
- A 42” gas insert fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- A stained cedar beam ceiling and surround sound speakers for an enhanced outdoor experience.

Winner: Best Outdoor Living Space (100k-200k) for the Krist project
The Krist project involved a complete transformation of a modest backyard into a luxurious 1,400 sq ft outdoor living space. Key features include:
- A 550 sq ft covered patio encompassing a cozy sitting area, dining area, and an outdoor kitchen.
- The outdoor kitchen is equipped with RCS appliances and topped with Colonial Gold granite countertops.
- A pre-stained tongue and groove ceiling that adds a rustic charm to the space.
- Loire Beige porcelain pavers and Chopped Blanco stone that enhance the overall aesthetic.
- An expansive concrete pour for both the new covered area and pool decking, ensuring a seamless and stylish integration with the outdoor environment.
