This pool is great, except there really isn’t anywhere to sit in the shade and enjoy the space.
The home had a small existing covered area along the back. TCP expanded that space and updated the look. A new covered space was added to the side of the garage while tying into the breezeway. The ceiling finish is 1×6 pre-stained V-groove in Scottish Ale by Woodtone.
The struggle with this project was making everything fit in the tight space.
The outdoor kitchen is just a dream. It includes a grill, fridge, doors and drawers, a vent hood and a pizza oven. Everything that is needed to move the heat outside. The granite is Black Pearl from Daltile and the stone is Nysa 3-size Z-pattern split face travertine mosaics from QDI Surfaces.
A small half bath was added at the end of the kitchen area – tucked in the back of the garage where an under the stairs storage closet was.
An electric screen was also installed to drop down to shade the kitchen area in the afternoons.
This backyard provides and open air dining area for eating under the stars. It is the perfect place to enjoy their space.
The space along the back of the home was updated with new ceiling and heaters. The flooring is all silver Versailles pattern travertine tiles from QDI Surfaces. TCP addressed the drainage issues the homeowner was facing by added additional drainage in both the driveway and at the back of the kitchen area.
