In the 20 years we’ve been designing and building patios, we’ve worked on projects where we start from nothing, where we completely redo what’s there, and as in this case, where we expand upon an already lovely structure that came with the home. 

The Original Client Vision

Add a freestanding pool house with storage, a bathroom, and a shaded living area in a way that felt integrated with the overall space.

The Custom Outdoor Solution 

During a span of 6 months from initial design to project completion, we added 950SF of patio space to integrate the original patio cover with the new structure, while coordinating with the installation of a pool at the same time. Designed in a way that feels original to the home (our specialty!) the pool house is 440SF and includes a small bathroom and storage closet. A custom gas fireplace creates a focal point for the structure.

An Addition with Added Convenience 

Now, the owners are able to enjoy a backyard complete with a half bath that is great for easy access while swimming or hanging out, and the storage closet has enough room for pool toys, bikes, and other outdoor toys. The custom design is now the perfect space for the family.
